Liverpool have enjoyed a fairly fruitful transfer window to date.
The Reds have landed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szobozslai, and remain in talks over Romeo Lavia.
However, no club will have a 100 percent success rate when it comes to targets. Some will slip through the net.

One report from France says Liverpool have failed to get their hands on Japan international forward Keito Nakamura.
According to journalist Mohamed Tounache-ter, the Reds couldn’t convince the player to make the move to Anfield.
Apparently, Liverpool wanted to buy Nakamura – who plays for Austrian club LASK – and loan him out straight away.
The 23-year-old reportedly ‘refused’ that scenario, and is not interested in joining Reims either.
Nakamura is said to be ‘seduced’ by Lille and only wants to join them.
Apparently, there’s already a contractual agreement with the French side.
Our view
Liverpool were certainly right to make Nakamura a proposal. He’s a “phenomenal” talent with a bright future ahead of him.
However, you can’t blame the player for turning the Reds down either, if they wanted to sign him with a view to loaning him out.
The prospect of getting on a top club’s books but not being in with a shout of regular first-team football isn’t one that appeals to all.

Nakamura would be better off joining Lille, getting regular football, develop further as a player and enjoy some stability.
Then who knows, in a year or two’s time, if he becomes a standout player, then the likes of Liverpool could want him for their first team right away.
