Tottenham picked up a 2-1 win over Everton yesterday, and Pedro Porro seems really impressed by Guglielmo Vicario’s performance.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side moved up to fourth in the table following the win last night, and they are now just four points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal. Vicario is having a sensational campaign.
Pedro Porro impressed by Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario
Tottenham signed Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli in the summer for a little over £17 million (Sky Sports).
Not many people here in England, including James Maddison, had heard about the 27-year-old back then, which gave rise to doubts over whether he’s actually good enough for Spurs.
However, Vicario has been outstanding for Tottenham since the very first day. He has barely put a foot wrong in a Spurs shirt, and he has saved them on numerous occasions already.
In the game against Everton yesterday, Vicario was one of the best players on the pitch. He is the biggest reason why Spurs didn’t concede three or four goals, and he deserves immense credit for his display.
Vicario took to Instagram to celebrate the win yesterday.
Pedro Porro commented “phenomenon”, while Giovani Lo Celso wrote: “Mamma mía!” Even Fabrizio Romano was impressed.

Guglielmo Vicario is one of Tottenham’s best players
Tottenham have become a fantastic side to watch under Ange Postecoglou, but their way of playing gives the opposition plenty of chances to score.
Everton began the game terribly yesterday, but after they went 2-0 down, they were all over Tottenham for large parts of the fixture.
Many even believe the Toffees deserved to win, but Guglielmo Vicario’s brilliance in goal kept Sean Dyche’s side away from taking anything from the game.
Vicario’s name often gets overshadowed by all the stars at Tottenham, but he is right up there among the very best players at the club.
