A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Davinson Sanchez’s performance in Spurs’ Premier League victory last night.
Jose Mourinho’s charges boosted their top-four hopes with a 1-0 victory at Fulham, sealed by Tosin Adarabioyo’s 19th-minute own goal.
Dele Alli, making his first league start since the start of the season, flicked an effort goalwards which the Cottagers defender deflected over the line.

Sanchez, who was superb against Burnley in Tottenham’s previous game, put in another good display to ensure Spurs kept another clean sheet.
The £65,000-a-week centre-back made a couple of important early blocks and made a great tackle to stop Ruben Loftus-Cheek from having a shot in the six-yard box.
Admittedly, Sanchez did get lucky when a poor clearance which culminated in Josh Maja finding the back of the net was disallowed by VAR for a handball in the build-up.
Nonetheless, the Colombia international did very well overall and, come full time, some Spurs fans praised him for his efforts:
