'Phenomenal', 'Best in Scotland' - Celtic fans happy to have Edouard back
Odsonne Edouard scored on his return from injury to help guide Celtic to a narrow victory over Aberdeen.
Edouard limped off in a recent game against Motherwell and he missed the win over Dundee.
But the Frenchman was back on the bench yesterday and he impressed when he was introduced.
It was a crazy game at Pittodrie with Aberdeen twice coming from behind to level the scores at 2-2 after 83 minutes.
But with the game heading for a draw, Edouard came in with a crucial goal to put Celtic ahead.
The 20-year-old showed impressive composure to lift the ball over the goalkeeper in the 86th minute.
Scott Sinclair completed his hat-trick two minutes later to make it 4-2 and a late Lewis Ferguson goal made it a nervous ending for the Bhoys.
But Celtic held on to move three points clear of Rangers, just days before the Old Firm derby.
Celtic fans were full of praise for Edouard, who has had to step up with Leigh Griffiths taking a personal break from football.
Here are what Celtic fans were saying about Edouard’s goal.
