Peter Crouch has urged Tottenham to invest heavily moving forward and put their faith in manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs are moving into their new stadium in April and there is still plenty to play for this season.
The North London club have to try hold on to a spot in the top four of the Premier League, while they are also in the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City.
Ex-Spurs attacker Crouch has raved about the qualities of the current boss Pochettino, who has become a huge favourite a the club.
Crouch is hopeful that Pochettino is given the resources needed to close the gap to the top two of Manchester City and Liverpool.
“No player ever joins a club because the stadium is good — they join because they want to play for the manager and Pochettino is of the highest calibre. Spurs need to back him this summer,” Crouch wrote in the Daily Mail.
“The players believe in him, they have shown incredible loyalty to the club and everything looks so exciting for the future. With the right investment, they’ll have all they need to push Manchester City and Liverpool.”

TBR’s View:
There is no doubt that Pochettino is the right man at the helm at Spurs, as he’s hardly put a foot wrong since he joined back in 2014 after leaving Southampton.
The Argentinian manager has built an exciting side that has improved further this year and with a few minor touches they should be winning silverware in some format.
Spurs just need to get over the line with a first trophy and they will hope it will be the first of many.
It would send a real statement if they want out to make a couple of marquee signings in the summer following their stadium move and put them in a great position to compete at the top.
