Peter Crouch wasn’t one of Liverpool’s greatest players of all-time, but he was a unique weapon.
Standing at 6 ft 7, Crouch was a fantastic target man for any club he played for, and he would be interesting in this current Liverpool squad.
Speaking on The Redmen TV, Peter Crouch has been discussing this current Liverpool side, and he says that there are currently two players in the team he’d loved to have played with.

Peter Crouch would love to play with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson
Crouch spoke about how much he’d love to play with Liverpool’s two current full-backs.
“Oh he is, I never played with Trent. But when I look at him play now I wish I had the chance. Robbo as well to be fair. Two players who I would love to, you get into the box and the delivery is fantastic,” Crouch said.
Imagine Crouch and Trent
Peter Crouch may not be the best player to ever play for Liverpool, but imagining two-meter Peter in this Liverpool team is interesting.
Crouch is perhaps the most dominant player in the history of the Premier League in terms of his aerial ability, while there’s an argument to make that Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best crosser of a ball the league has ever seen.
If these two were to play in the same team, they’d be quite the pairing.
Of course, football isn’t as simple as just crossing the ball into a big man to nod it in, but that is a very effective tactic from time to time, and it would be very interesting to see how Alexander-Arnold would get on if he was playing in the same team as a proper target man like Crouch.
This hypothetical pairing is an intriguing one to ponder it has to be said.
