Arsenal could be in the market for a new attacker in the final week of the transfer window.
The Gunners have needed a clinical for a little while now, and as we enter the final days of the transfer window that is still the case.
Ivan Toney has been strongly linked with Arsenal in recent times, and speaking on TalkSPORT (25/8/24 2:18PM), Perry Groves has urged Arsenal to sign Toney before Friday’s transfer deadline.

Perry Groves says he’d take Ivan Toney at Arsenal
Groves shared his verdict on the £30m striker, claiming he’d take him at Arsenal in a heartbeat.
“I would take him at Arsenal. I would take him in a heartbeat because I want someone to be arrogant. Whatever club he goes to, that shirt isn’t going to weigh heavy,” Groves said
“He will be a player that actually embraces it, and I think for the Gunners, I think he gives you that something different as well. We talked about his presence.
“People don’t appreciate enough his technical ability because I have seen him play in games for Brentford where he drops deep and he becomes like Harry Kane where he spreads it wide.”
Ivan Toney could be the difference for Arsenal
Ivan Toney could be the type of signing that takes Arsenal to the Premier League title this season.
So often the difference between champions and contenders is that goalscoring striker, and Arsenal, at the moment, don’t have that.
Yes, Kai Havertz is a solid option, while Gabriel Jesus has won league titles before, but neither man has proven they can be that 20-goal Premier League striker.
Meanwhile, Toney has hit those heights before, and he could run rampant if he joins an Arsenal team that creates tons of chances.
This would be a very smart signing for Arsenal this week, but whether or not they opt to make such a move remains to be seen.
