'Performance for the ages': Liverpool fans loved Fabinho against Leeds United today

Liverpool fans were celebrating another Premier League win today as they cruised past Leeds United at Elland Road this afternoon.

The Reds picked up three points thanks to goals from Mo Salah, Fabinho and Sadio Mane, and in truth, never looked like doing anything but leave West Yorkshire with the win.

A horror injury to Harvey Elliott overshadowed much of the good work the Reds did on the field. However, that’s not to take anything away from a number of individual performances on the day.

And after a week in which he looked like he might not be able to play, it was the scorer of the second goal, Fabinho, who took plenty of plaudits on social media.

The Brazilian oozed class throughout and once again proved just why he’s regarded as one of the best defensive midfield players in the world. The Reds are a better team with him involved, and it showed again today.
