'Perfection', 'the guy is world class': Some Villa fans hail £25m man's display today
A number of Aston Villa fans have waxed lyrical about Lucas Digne’s display against Everton today.
The Villans signed the France international from Goodison Park for a reported £25million last week.
In just his second game for Villa, Digne returned to Merseyside to take on his former club.

The 28-year-old didn’t let the nerves get to him, and delivered a superb performance en route to victory.
In first-half injury time, Digne delivered a superb cross for Emiliano Buendia to head home.
Digne and Matty Cash were then struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.
Both fell to the ground holding their heads before getting up and continuing.
Digne didn’t let the incident get to him and continued to impress, blocking well late on.
The Villa newcomer took the most touches of the ball and made the most passes and interceptions.
In addition, Digne got his first Premier League assist of the season.
Needless to say, Villa fans loved what they saw from Digne and how he handled the occasion:

MOTM definitely Matty Cash but Buendia’s goal was pure genius. A special mention for Lucas Digne. Looked superb again today against his former club and looked solid on that left hand side #avfc

Buendia is getting better and better each week, his work rate on top of his ability is what is impressive, never stops running. Luiz excellent in front of the back 4, who all put massive shift in, Digne looking like a great signing. #avfc

Digne my MOTM. Took pelters from the crowd (Literally), took some crunching tackles and dealt with all that really well. Great defensively today too, much better in the air than I thought he was.

Lucas Digne though… The guy got us out of a few sticky situations with beautiful one touch passes, not to mention the corner for the goal. The guy is world class, what a signing.
