Arsenal fans have been responding on Twitter after seeing Thomas Partey score a rocket of a goal ahead of the weekend’s clash with Liverpool.

Partey, who was a big money signing from Atletico Madrid in the summer, has yet to score in a Gunners shirt. In fairness to him, he does player a deeper role, so rarely gets the chance to get his name on the scoresheet.

But in training footage released by the club yesterday, Partey seemed to find his shooting boots as he rocketed a stunning effort into the top corner, much to the shock of Nicolas Pepe it seemed!

Arsenal fans, then, were all over Twitter in the comments reacting to Partey’s effort. And while some called for him to do similar against Liverpool, there were some good humoured responses too.

Some Gunners fans, it seems, were loving the reaction of Pepe, while some couldn’t quite believe they’d seen Partey hit the target.
