'Pep mind games': Spurs fans react to news City could be without Dias and Rodri
Spurs fans have been reacting on Twitter this morning and last night, after reports emerged claiming Man City could be without Ruben Dias and Rodri for the weekend.
The City pair have been integral to Pep Guardiola’s team this season. Dias has proven one of the buys of the season, while Rodri has sat at the base of the midfield and provided crucial cover to the defence.
However, The Daily Mail claims that Guardiola is ‘sweating’ on the fitness of the duo, while Fernandinho is also said to be a worry.
Some Spurs fans, though, aren’t reading too much into it, and some even think it won’t matter one bit who Pep picks in his starting XI, given Spurs’ current run of form.
The overriding response from Tottenham supporters was one of a defeatist attitude. It seems, at the moment at least, Spurs fans don’t seem to have much confidence in their team, especially against a side like Manchester City.
