Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola gave Riyad Mahrez huge individual praise for his display on Tuesday night against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Man City beat Wolves 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium last night, as they moved 15 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
They have now won 21 games in a row across all competitions, meaning they are still trying to hunt down four trophies this season.
Mahrez scored the third goal for Man City in the 90th minute, tucking in a low finish inside the box as they finally wrapped up three points against a stubborn opposition.
The 30-year-old was a constant attacking threat cutting inside from the right-winger position, something fans have become so used to seeing.
Guardiola was left waxing lyrical about the latest performance from the Algeria international:
“The last games were outstanding. He played really well. He has a special quality,” Guardiola said, as quoted by the club’s official website.
“He is a guy who dances on the pitch. He doesn’t lose balls on the pitch. He makes the extra pass. He attracts opponents on the pitch and after he makes a pass in behind.

TBR’s View:
Mahrez, who earns £120,000-a-week, once again dazzled on the wing for his side and is so difficult for full-backs to handle even though they know he likes to cut onto his left foot.
He’s nailed down a starting position in the league XI during the past month and that’s quite the achievement given the ridiculous amount of talent in the squad.
Mahrez is a flair player that loves to run at defenders full tilt and take them one-on-one, which is why he’s such a key player in the team to allow room for others.
