People in football think Tottenham have a youngster who will be unreal

Tottenham Hotspur have so much exciting young talent on their books right now.

Big things are expected of the likes of Mikey Moore, Jamie Donley and Lucas Bergvall despite the fact they’ve barely kicked a ball for Tottenham.

Spurs seem to have somehow collated a collection of the best young talents in England, and the jewel in the crown may well be their newest signing – Archie Gray.

The 18-year-old was already one of the best players in the Championship last season, and big things are expected of the teenager.

Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Gray’s potential after his arrival at Leeds, and he says that many within the game view Gray as a generational talent.

Archie Gray seen as a generational talent

Jacobs shared how highly Gray is rated.

“Make no mistake Archie Gray isn’t just seen as a top prospect in English football. He’s seen by many as a generational talent, Liverpool, Chelsea and many other clubs were thinking about it,” Jacobs said.

“Spurs are looking at this as a signing as a midfielder rather than a right-back. Even though he played for Leeds as a right-back.”

Gray has plenty to prove

Gray has a lot of hype around him, but the teenager can’t start believe the hype just yet.

Indeed, Gray is still yet to kick a ball in the Premier League. He’s got plenty to prove at the top level and he needs to be fully focused heading into this season.

Yes, Gray may be seen as some as a generational talent, but the only way he will reach that potential is by working his socks off.

Luckily, Gray has a great attitude, a great manager and a great family behind him, so he should have all of the necessary tools to go on and become a star for Tottenham and England one day.
