Tottenham Hotspur have a multitude of players currently away on international duty, testament to how much quality is currently within the Spurs ranks.
For instance, Spurs trio Ben Davies, Brennan Johnson and Joe Rodon will be hoping to get Wales over the line and into the finals of Euro 2024.
Meanwhile, Tottenham captain Son Heung-min is in 2026 World Cup qualifying action with South Korea.
However, many of Spurs’ senior players will be contesting friendlies, with several of those having already played their first March international match.
Argentina – for whom Tottenham’s Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso play – is one of those nations, having picked up a 3-0 win over El Salvador on Friday night.
Giovani Lo Celso earns praise from Tottenham stars on Instagram
Indeed, both Romero and Lo Celso scored for the reigning world champions.
And both Spurs players then took to Instagram after the match to express their delight in shining for their nation.
Romero. who wrote “how much I missed you”, picked up praise from the likes of Pedro Porro, Lo Celso, Leandro Paredes and Rodrigo De Paul in the comments.
Meanwhile, Lo Celso took to Insta to write “nothing more beautiful than being able to live all this.”
The likes of James Maddison, Angel Di Maria, Porro and Paredes all responded in the comments.
Maddison posted two applause emojis, while Porro wrote ‘game’.

It’s nice to see Lo Celso get praise from Spurs teammates as well as from some of his world-class compatriots.
All in all, a solid display for Lo Celso, who once again shows his quality for his nation despite struggling for opportunities at Tottenham.
Lo Celso has sadly never really got going at Spurs following his £27million move years ago, for one reason or another.
It would be nice to see him get a chance at Tottenham, but honestly, a player of his quality – a key squad member for the world champions – should be getting regular football.
