There are two surprise names included in Liverpool’s 25-man Premier League squad. Isaac Christie-Davies and Pedro Chirivella have both been named in Liverpool’s squad for the upcoming Premier League season.
Liverpool have named 25 players in their squad, as well as having U21 players (such as Trent Alexander-Arnold) available. Christie-Davies and Chirivella are both above 21 and in the squad.
But do either have any chance of breaking into the first-team squad for Premier League games this season? We take a closer look…
Pedro Chirivella – Unlikely

It is very unlikely that Jurgen Klopp will use Chirivella in the Premier League this season. The 22-year-old is not close to breaking into Liverpool’s central midfield ranks under Klopp.
Chirivella has played five times for the senior Liverpool side but is unlikely to add to that tally. The Spaniard, who has previously had loan spells with Willem II and Go Ahead Eagles, should probably leave on a permanent deal for the sake of his career.
Isaac Christie-Davies – Outside chance

Christie-Davies has been at Liverpool for one year now since his summer 2018 move from Chelsea. After playing regularly for Liverpool’s U23 side last season, he will be hoping for some opportunities this year.
The 21-year-old is also a central midfielder so he has the same obstacles as Chirivella in reaching the first-team. While he might not play in the Premier League, he has an outside chance of getting some minutes if there are injuries.
