Mohamed Salah has caused quite the stir with his recent comments on Arne Slot and Liverpool and Paul Scholes has slammed the Liverpool man.

Salah is on his way out of the club this summer as we all know.

However, not for the first time this season, Salah has come out on his social media accounts to have a dig at life under Arne Slot.

Despite leading the Reds to the title last season, Slot is under pressure this summer after a poor title defence.

But for Paul Scholes, Salah has overstepped the mark this time.

Paul Scholes claims Alex Ferguson would ‘drop-kick’ Mohamed Salah

When had it put to him what would have happened if Alex Ferguson was in charge of Salah, Scholes suggested that it would have been a different outcome.

“He’d have drop-kicked him (Sir Alex). He wouldn’t have done it,” Scholes said on The Good, The Bad and The Football podcast.

“Do you not think Salah is out of order? Salah is a great player and we all love him as a player but to do something like that. Your manager is struggling.

“He’s had a terrible season. So what these big players do, they deflect. They never admit to it being their fault, they blame everyone else but themselves. Imagine if Arne Slot got sacked tomorrow? I wonder what Mo Salah would think then.”

Liverpool fans will back Salah but he’s being unprofessional

Paul Scholes makes a valid point here. This sort of stuff from Salah is just out of line and bordering on the unprofessional.

Instead of leaving the club with honour and nothing but a brilliant legacy, Salah is going to end up departing on bad terms.

So much so, that there’s a chance that Slot simply doesn’t even have the Egyptian around the ground for Liverpool’s final game this Sunday.

That would mean no send-off for Salah and the bitterest of ends for one of the Premier League’s best ever players.

This time, though, he has only himself to blame.
