Paul Merson heaped praise on Alexandre Lacazette after he snatched a late equaliser for Arsenal during a 3-3 draw with West Ham.
The former Gunners star was working for Sky Sports as a pundit on the Premier League clash.
Arsenal trailed 3-0 after just 32 minutes at the London Stadium with Jesse Lingard, Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek scoring.

An own goal from midfielder Soucek just before half-time gave Arsenal hope and in the second half, it was one-way traffic.
Another own goal, this time from Craig Dawson, made it 3-2 and Lacazette’s goal gave Mikel Arteta’s men the unlikeliest of points.
It was the Frenchman who caught the eye and afterwards, Merson was quick to single out the striker.
He told Sky Sports: “It was outstanding, absolutely outstanding. It’s a good run by Lacazette because he goes in and just drifts off Dawson. It’s a split second move but it’s a really good piece of play.”
The 29-year-old has now found the net 13 times during 2020/21 and he’s been one of the surprise packages of the season.
Interest appeared rife during the summer and some supporters anticipated he might be sold during the transfer window.
He is right on the heels of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with regards to goals and the hope will be that his form can continue.
TBR View: Lacazette could hit the 20-goal mark
The goal scored by the 16-time France international typified what he is all about yesterday.
He’s a centre forward who happens to have a knack of being in the right place at the right time and that was evident yesterday.

The £180,000-a-week player appears to be in Arteta’s good books at the moment and that should lead to more opportunities before the season is out.
As a result, he looks well on course for 20 goals in all competitions and there is more to come from Lacazette yet.
