Leeds United and Bournemouth are putting on a show for football fans this afternoon, and Crysencio Summerville impressed Paul Merson very early on in the game.
The Whites went into the fixture today with a ton of confidence. They picked up a fantastic win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend, and their start to the game against the Cherries this afternoon was just as good.

Paul Merson impressed by Crysencio Summerville’s pace in Leeds vs Bournemouth
It only took Leeds United a couple of minutes to have a huge say in the game.
Summerville found the ball on the left side of the pitch and charged into Bournemouth’s box. The young Dutchman would’ve wanted to have a pop at goal himself, but he was clattered by Marcos Senesi.
The referee instantly pointed to the spot and Rodrigo stepped up to give the hosts an early lead.
Merson was blown away by Summerville’s pace in the buildup to the penalty. He branded his speed as ‘unbelievable’, and we can’t disagree.
The pundit said on Sky Sports: “Great bit of play.
“Ball gets played over the top to Summerville and he’s away, shows great pace. He gets in front of Senesi and Senesi comes across and just clips him. He goes down inside the box, ref doesn’t hesitate, he points straight to the spot.
“Unbelievable pace by Summerville!”

TBR View:
What a frantic game of football this is.
Both sides are well and truly going for it, but unfortunately for the two managers, their respective defences look really, really shaky.
Bournemouth have come from behind and are 2-1 up at the break, but if the game continues like this in the second half, there will surely be more goals.
Summerville’s pace is a real asset for Leeds and could cause the Cherries even more problems in the second half.
