Reported Arsenal and Spurs target, Patson Daka, has spoken of his admiration for Premier League trio, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane, and Mo Salah.
The Zambian star is being tipped for a bright future within the game after impressing at RB Salzburg. Indeed, both Arsenal and Spurs have been credited with a previous interest in him. Indeed, Optus Sport claimed just this week Daka may well leave in January for around £20m.

And speaking to the BBC today, Daka has made no secret of his desire to follow in the footsteps of the often lauded Premier League trio.
“To see our big brothers like (Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang, (Mohamed) Salah, (Sadio) Mane, it’s something that gives me the dream that I can also make it. I can be like them. They are my inspiration, knowing that they also come from Africa,” Daka said.
Daka’s talent is in no question. 15 goals already this season in just 17 games underline his ability, and that’s something that has led his current international coach to compare him to some of the very best.
“I would say he’s on the road to replace what Samuel Eto’o once was in representing Africa and African football. He could be compared to Sadio Mane or Samuel Eto’o, with the level of skill and speed that he has. With the sense for space, sense of positioning, in the right place at the right time,” coach Milutin Sredejovic said.

Salzburg players are usually targeted by sister club, RB Leizpig. However, with Premier League interest already there, Daka may well follow a different path to that of former teammate, Dominik Szoboszlai.

He speaks too highly of the likes of Mane and Salah to let any opportunity of coming to England pass him by. That, then, should really put the likes of Spurs and Arsenal on high alert.
He is a goalscorer who is seemingly improving by the week. A move is inevitable, it just remains to be seen whether he fancies bypassing Leipzig and coming straight to the English game.
