Celtic fans will know all about what Patrick Roberts has to his game and the Manchester City man was linked with a return to Celtic Park in the summer, with Brendan Rodgers not ruling out another loan spell in August, according to The Scottish Sun.
Instead, the former Fulham hotshot headed to Girona in Spain, where he has had limited opportunities in La Liga, making just eight appearances before Sunday evening.
The Englishman was chosen to start in place of star man Portu, who suffered an injury before the international break, and stood out as one of the best performers in a tense Catalan derby against Espanyol.

With pace and guile down the wing, Roberts was not afraid to take men on. Espanyol quickly feared what he had to offer down the flank and backed off, allowing him to complete more dribbles than any other player on the pitch.
The 21-year-old had all of the bravery and attacking threat that Celtic have found hard to come by at times in the current campaign, having failed to find an adequate replacement for Roberts.
Now he may establish himself as first choice at Girona, which will be easy if he continues his current form, a return to Celtic any time soon looks even less likely.
