Patrick Bamford says Leeds fans will love watching Raphinha live

Patrick Bamford has claimed that Leeds fans are going to love watching Raphinha when they get to see him in the flesh for the first time.

Raphinha, who earns £28,000-a-week (Tuttomercatoweb), is yet to be seen by a live Elland Road audience since he joined in the summer from Rennes.

The Whites fanbase have watched from home the 24-year-old make a brilliant start to his career at the Yorkshire outfit, as he’s been one of the standout individuals on the club’s return to the Premier League.

He is a skilful right-winger that looks like he’s got every trick in the book and is a huge attacking threat.

Additionally, he does the hard yards defensively off the ball that Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa demands from all his players.

Leeds striker Bamford expects teammate Raphinha to be a real fan favourite when supporters are back in grounds.

“He’s the kind of player that people will pay just to go see him because he does things that excite the crowd,” he told the Leeds United official podcast.

“It might be a flat game and he’s the kind of player that can all of a sudden raise the atmosphere with one thing that he does. I think Leeds fans will love him when they see him in the flesh.”

TBR’s View:

Raphinha, who has settled so quickly to English football, has been one of the most eye-catching players in the Premier League.

The Brazilian wide player has got the South American flair that has become so recognisable over the years and he’s already such a vital player in the Leeds XI.

He’s managed five goals and five assists in 22 appearances this season in all competitions, but he’ll always impact a game in some way.
