Leeds United moved to within one point of Premier League promotion yesterday after claiming a 1-0 win over Barnsley at Elland Road.
The result means the Whites need just one more point from their final two games. Failing that, if West Brom or Brentford drop points, Leeds will be promoted.
It has obviously caused quite a celebration with Leeds now tantalizingly close to a long-awaited return to the Premier League.

For some, it was too much to handle.
As posted on the official Leeds United twitter account yesterday, Patrick Bamford’s post-game press conference was interrupted by some exuberant singing from the adjacent room. It was Victor Orta, Leeds United’s impassioned sporting director singing ‘We’re top of the league’ at the top of his lungs.
Orta’s passion for the project at Leeds United has never been in doubt.
The Spaniard came out of last season’s Amazon documentary with plenty of respect from Leeds fans as it was clear he had developed a deep emotional connection to the club since his time at Elland Road.
Nobody will likely celebrate more if Leeds do indeed secure this now much-expected promotion. Not many Leeds fans will begrudge him the chance to let loose when that finally happens.
