Some Tottenham fans have expressed their frustration on social media, after Jose Mourinho revealed Gareth Bale is facing a few weeks out with a new injury.
The Wales superstar is struggling with a calf injury now, and will be unavailable for Spurs’ next few games.
He missed the weekend draw with Wolves having been taken off at half-time against Stoke City in the EFL Cup quarter-final.

Speaking ahead of the Premier League clash with Fulham, Mourinho said (via Sky Sports): “No, I don’t expect Gareth to be fit. I wouldn’t say it’s a serious injury, but I would say a few weeks.”
It is yet more frustration for Bale, who has been restricted to just 11 appearances since rejoining the club on loan from Real Madrid.
His second debut was delayed as a result of a knee problem, and it’s been a case of building up his match sharpness in these early stages.
But he’s now facing another spell on the sidelines, which is likely going to undo the work that he’s been putting in to build his fitness.

The warning signs have always been there with Bale, but Spurs pressed ahead with a loan move regardless.
It’sfar from the start fans had hoped for, and as loved as Bale is at the club, some on social media couldn’t help but express their frustration about the 31-year-old’s latest setback:
