Tottenham Hotspur have travelled to Belgium to take on Royal Antwerp in their second Europa League group games of the season, after beating LASK 3-0 in north London last week – and Pascal Chimbonda has predicted a result on The Spurs Web.
Spurs earned a 3-0 win last time out despite changing much of their side, and it is believed Gareth Bale will start again on Thursday for the second time since returning from Real Madrid. The only injury is in the form of Japhet Tanganga.
Serge Aurier and Steven Bergwijn missed Monday’s win over Burnley due to picking up knocks, but they trained on Wednesday and are expected to be available for the upcoming clash. Spurs are in excellent form at the moment.
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are in the form of their lives, both already netting 10 goals this season. Meanwhile, Spurs have now kept their first two clean sheets of the season in their last two games against LASK and Burnley.
They will be hoping to make that three against Antwerp – the city in which Toby Alderweireld was born. Joe Hart is expected to start in goal, while the likes of Kane, Son and other first-team stars could be rested. Dele Alli is believed to have travelled.
Chimbonda was asked to predict the result of Thursday evening’s clash, which kicks off at 5.55pm (GMT). He responded by claiming Spurs will earn a third conseutive clean sheet, in the form of a 2-0 win.
