‘Partnering Partey tomorrow?’: Arsenal fans speculate about Miguel Azeez, after under-23s omission

Arsenal fans have been speculating on Twitter this afternoon after young midfielder, Miguel Azeez, was left out of the Gunners’ under-23 squad for the Spurs game.

The match ended 1-1, with Kion Etete cancelling out a Ben Cottrell goal for Arsenal. A number of exciting young Arsenal stars played, including Folaring Balogun and, in what was an under-23s debut, Charlie Patino.

However, it was the omission of Azeez that caught most of the attention for onlooking Arsenal fans.

The teenage midfielder has been in and around the first XI all season and some Gunners fans took to Twitter today convinced that he might be in the matchday squad for the game with Man United tomorrow.

Of course, there could be other reasons for Azeez being missing. But that hasn’t stopped some Arsenal fans hoping to see the talented teen in the squad tomorrow when Ole Solskjaer’s men visit North London.
