Spurs fans have welcomed speculation linking their club with Maxence Lacroix.
Tottenham have Fabio Paratici in charge of transfers and he’s wasted no time in identifying prospective targets.
One area Spurs are apparently looking to bolster is their back line, following difficulties last season.

In addition, Toby Alderweireld is reportedly looking to leave N17.
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed on the Here We Go podcast (23 min 55 sec) that Tottenham have set their sights on Lacroix.
The 21-year-old plies his trade for Wolfsburg and enjoyed a great maiden season for the club after moving in 2020.
Lacroix quickly established himself as a mainstay in their defence and made 29 Bundesliga appearances.

And Spurs fans are pleased to hear Paratici is reportedly looking to bring the 6ft 3in Frenchman to Spurs.
According to the Bundesliga website, Lacroix was the fourth-fastest played in the German top flight last season at 22.2mph.
He was also 18th in the overall tackle-winning stakes with 339, and 20th in aerial duels with 90.
Lacroix’s efforts helped Wolfsburg maintain the second-best defence in the Bundesliga and qualify for the Champions League.
