'Paratici is working on it': Romano shares triple transfer update for Tottenham fans

Tottenham Hotspur have already completed most of their incoming transfer business this summer.

Spurs have made seven signings, though there could potentially be an eighth on the way.

There have been reports linking Tottenham with Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi in recent days.

However, the bulk of Spurs’ current business involves offloading players.

So far, Tottenham have sold three players and loaned out three more.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has just issued an outgoing transfer update on three more Spurs players.

One of those is Pape Matar Sarr, who joined Tottenham last year and is a player for the future.

Bryan Gil – whose future is somewhat uncertain – is also spoken about in Romano’s latest tweet.

And then we have Harry Winks, who is very much surplus to Antonio Conte’s requirements.

Romano claimed that Tottenham are confident of finding a loan solution for Sarr.

He says there are Italian clubs eyeing the 19-year-old midfielder’s services for the season.

Romano then said negotiations are ongoing for Gil, with Valencia “still insisting”, and for Winks.

“Paratici is working on it,” concluded the transfer insider.

Sarr spent last season on loan at Metz, where he was on the books prior to Tottenham signing him.

He made 33 appearances for the French outfit, but despite his efforts, couldn’t stop them from dropping to Ligue 2.

Meanwhile, Gil spent the second half of 2021-22 at Valencia, where he did incredibly well.

Winks has played his whole career at Tottenham, making 203 appearances including 30 last season.

However, he has recently been training away from the first-team, outside of Conte’s plans for the future.
