According to Calciomercato, Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are at odds over who they should prioritise as the next Tottenham signing, with both Weston McKennie and Dejan Kulusevski wanted.
The Juventus pair are both said to be on the radar of Tottenham for the January window. Indeed, just last week it was claimed Spurs were lining up a £59m double bid for the Turin based duo.
However, it might not be plain sailing. According to reports from Italy today, Spurs boss Conte would prefer the club to go out and sign McKennie if he had the choice. On the flip side, it is suggested Paratici is high on Kulusevski, and he is actively pursuing a deal for the Swede.

Tottenham and Daniel Levy are expected to back Conte in January. A number of players have been identified. McKennie and Kulusevski are among the potential signings mentioned. But it seems that Spurs haven’t quite made their mind up on who to go for first.
Both players are said to hold a value of around £29m to Juve. That is where the £59m double bid talk emerged from.
TBR’s View: Conte Should Get Who He Wants At Tottenham, Not Paratici
While you have to admire the work Paratici did in the summer in bringing players into Spurs, this is now Antonio Conte’s team and surely he is the one who gets the final say?
Both Kulusevski and McKennie are good players. But if Conte is championing one over the other, then surely that is what the club follows?
Of course, this could just be noise. Tottenham might end up signing both players in the end anyway. If they did, it would be quite the coup for the Londoners. But in terms of who gets to say who the club is signing and isn’t, surely this falls on the shoulders of Conte, given he’s the man in charge.
