Championship outfit Nottingham Forest saw their unbeaten home record go up in smoke on Saturday afternoon, as the Reds were beaten 2-1 by Norwich City.
Aitor Karanka’s men succumbed to a couple of Timm Klose goals after Lewis Grabban’s goal had given them a half-time lead.
Forest started the day in fifth in the Championship but in truth they never really got going, with the Canaries taking advantage of a lackluster second half display for the Reds.
The result represents a setback for Forest who hold ambitions of promotion this season, with tough away games now coming up against Bolton and Leeds.
The Championship is an unforgiving lead and Forest know that their game management must improve. Saturday’s outcome is the second successive home game that has seen the Reds drop points from winning positions.
With lots of new players still blending into the squad it is important that the Reds develop an understanding of the style of play which the manager wants to utilise – and quickly.
After such a defeat, some Forest fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations at their team, who drop to ninth in the Championship. The Boot Room rounded up the best of those Tweets…
