A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the Gunners’ latest training-ground pictures, with Emile Smith Rowe nowhere to be seen.

The 20-year-old has made a sensational breakthrough this season, becoming the latest Hale End star to become a first-team regular under Mikel Arteta.

This season, Smith Rowe has made 16 senior appearances for Arsenal, including each of the last 10 Premier League games.

On Thursday, the attacking midfielder was pushed out to the left wing to accommodate Martin Odegaard in the starting XI against Benfica.

It didn’t quite work, and as such you’d think he could either be reinstated at No. 10 in place of Odegaard or benched for Sunday’s meeting with Manchester City.

However, there was no sign of Smith Rowe in Arsenal’s pictures from Saturday’s training session, which sparked concern amongst some Gunners fans on social media.
