Liverpool have been left reeling by the news that Brazilian forward, Roberto Firmino, will be missing from action for around six weeks through injury.

Jurgen Klopp told The Times that the outlook for Firmino is not a good one and that the forward could miss over a month of action. It comes at a bad time for the Reds, who were just starting to see the best of the Brazilian once again.

Firmino had scored a hat-trick at Watford a few weeks back and then played a pivotal role in proceedings as the Reds hammered Manchester United 5-0 at Old Trafford.

Naturally, then, social media has been awash with comments from Liverpool fans who’ve been left gutted by the injury news on Firmino.

Twitter was full of Reds fans who were expressing their concern. There were some calls for FSG to sign more players in January, while others simply hoped to see Firmino back ASAP.
