Pablo Mari has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his Arsenal debut as the Gunners booked their place in the quarter-final of the FA Cup on Monday.
Mikel Arteta has taken his time introducing Mari into the fold following his arrival in January.

He has previously been involved with the under-23s, but went into Monday’s trip to Fratton Park still awaiting his first-team bow.
And he has opened his account up with a clean sheet.

The Gunners beat Portsmouth 2-0 in the fifth round of the cup. Sokratis and Eddie Nketiah got the goals that ensured that the Premier League side avoided an upset.
Mari looked good at the heart of the defence. He was confident on the ball, distributing some ambitious passes to his teammates.
He also made a number of clearances, and appeared to have little problem coping with the home side’s attacking players.
It was an extremely promising debut for the Spaniard. And he will be hoping that he has staked a claim to put pressure on David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi, who appear to have established themselves as Arteta’s first-choice pairing in the league.
And unsurprisingly, Mari wanted to take to social media after the game to comment on the win and making his first-team debut…
