Pablo Mari has insisted that he would love to make his move to Arsenal permanent this summer after impressing in the early stages of his loan spell, in comments reported by the London Evening Standard.
Mari has made a bright start to life at the Emirates. He has made two appearances for Mikel Arteta’s men, and the Gunners are yet to concede a goal with him in the side.

Of course, they are set to come up against tougher opposition on Wednesday when they travel to Manchester City. But Mari looks to have the potential to be a good signing for the club.
And when asked whether he would like Arsenal to take up the option on his loan at the end of the season, the centre-back issued an emphatic response.

“Yeah, of course,” he said, as reported by the London Evening Standard.
“I am so happy here. I am going to try and do my best until the end of the season.
“I hope also the club is happy with me and then we are going to find a good end for everybody.”
TBR View – Arteta deserves praise for Arsenal’s defensive improvement
There have still been reminders of how much work there is to do, but there is surely no question that Arsenal have improved significantly at the back since Arteta was appointed.
Few would have expected Shkodran Mustafi to enjoy such an uneventful run in the side in recent times. But the German appears to have become a lot more assured. And David Luiz has looked a lot more like a leader alongside him.
Mari has slotted in very nicely since coming in.
And if his first two performances are a sign of what is to come, it would surely be no surprise if he gets his wish and a permanent move when the campaign concludes.
