Numerous reports this week are suggesting that Leeds United could sack manager Paul Heckingbottom this summer. Rumours have swirled over the summer that the former Barnsley boss could be let go after just four months in charge. Over the weekend those rumours intensified and, as reported by The Mirror, the Leeds board are considering their options.
The report claims that Andrea Radrizzani is unsure whether he is the right man to take the club forward next season and he could let him go.
Of course, with rumours over his potential departure, plenty of names are being linked with the job.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, one man who is seemingly a rumoured target is Danish legend Michael Laudrup. He is set to leave current club Al Rayyan of Qatar and is fast becoming a bookies favourite in the hunt for a new coach.
He was linked with the West Yorkshire side last summer and his appointment would certainly be an eye-catching move from Radrizzani and director of football Victor Orta.
His appointment would certainly go down well with one of the current Leeds United crop. Pablo Hernandez, who signed a new two-year deal to remain at Elland Road recently, is a well-known player to the Dane.

It was Laudrup who first brought him to South Wales and Swansea City. In August 2012 the Swans swooped to sign the former Spanish international from Valencia, for a fee reported by the BBC to be in the region £5.5 million.
The pair had also previously worked together at Getafe in 2007-08 and Hernandez was a massive favourite of Laudrup.
His role has changed since his initial move to England. Back then he was a 27-year-old winger, but he has emerged as a far better playmaker in his advancing years at Leeds United.
Next season he will once again hope to be a regular in the Leeds team and keep putting in the classy performances that have made him a firm fan favourite with the Leeds faithful. If Laudrup arrives, there is no doubt that he will be a major part of the first-team plans.
