Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhys Williams were amongst the Liverpool players to reply to Curtis Jones on Instagram after the youngster posted a video of an outrageous free-kick while training with England’s under-21s.
Jones is part of the side gearing up for Tuesday’s clash with Kosovo in Milton Keynes.

The 20-year-old has only made a handful of appearances for the under-21s. But it would be a huge surprise if Lee Carsley did not make him a focal point of his plans in the coming months.
Jones has been an outstanding performer throughout his time in the Liverpool first-team.

He has rarely looked out of place while featuring for Jurgen Klopp’s men, making almost 50 appearances for the club in all competitions already.
And he boasts the quality to change a game with a moment of brilliance – as he proved in training this week.
Jones scored a stunning goal from outside the box with his weaker left foot. The youngster curled the ball into the top corner with immaculate precision, leaving the goalkeeper with absolutely no chance.
Even Jones could not hide his delight at the strike, wheeling away to celebrate.
And after posting a clip on Instagram, a number of his Liverpool teammates were full of praise.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, Williams and Adrian all lauded the academy graduate.
Williams, in particular, probably summed up how a lot of Liverpool fans felt with his one-word response.
With that in mind, here is the post from Jones, as well as some of the responses from those on Merseyside…
