Owen Hargreaves has praised Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson for his display in Saturday’s Premier League victory over Burnley.
The Reds ran out 2-0 winners over the Clarets in front of a capacity crowd at Anfield.
Liverpool had not played in front of a packed home crowd since March 2020 prior to this weekend.

Henderson missed Liverpool’s Premier League opener at Norwich as he continued to build up fitness following his late return to pre-season.
The £20million man played in five games for England at Euro 2020 as they reached the final.
Now back to full fitness, Henderson made Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI against Burnley and played the full 90 minutes.
Indeed, it was his first Reds outing since January, and it didn’t take long for him to get into his groove and set the game’s tempo.

Liverpool took the lead in the 18th minute when Diogo Jota headed home from Kostas Tsimikas’ cross.
The Reds then made the points safe on 69 minutes when Sadio Mane finished off a fine team move.
Liverpool looked impressive with their top players back, and Hargreaves is optimistic about their season.
“The spine of the team is exceptional,” the former England international said on Optus Sport.

“Alisson again… van Dijk is back.
“Jordan Henderson is back, I thought he looked really good today.
“They’re not conceding goals and they’re scoring again.
“Jurgen Klopp and Anfield back together.
“They’re going to be right up there at the end of the season – he knows that and we all know that.”
