Owen Hargreaves gave big credit to Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart after his side’s Europa League victory on Thursday.
Spurs recorded a 3-1 away win against Bulgarian side Ludogorets and it was a special night for centre-forward Harry Kane, as he scored his 200th goal for the club in all competitions in just 300 appearances.
Meanwhile, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso were also on the scoresheet to earn the North London club a much-needed three points in the Europa League group stages.
Jose Mourinho’s side currently sit top of Group J, but are tied on six points alongside Royal Antwerp and LASK with three games remaining.
Hargreaves discussed former England international Hart in his post-match analysis and claimed he’s been an excellent signing for the club.
The 33-year-old shot-stopper joined Spurs on a free transfer in the summer window and was kept fairly quiet against Ludogorets, but in his four games so far this season he’s been the loudest player on the pitch.
“Joe is a great guy, a great teammate. I just think he’s a great addition to that Tottenham team,” Hargreaves told BT Sport 2 (7:47pm, 5 November).
“Leading from the back. The shouting you heard at the stadium mostly was Joe Hart encouraging his team even though the ball was at the other end of the pitch most of the time.”

TBR’s View:
Hart was a low risk signing for Spurs in the summer, but he’s proven he’s a decent second-choice option in goal behind captain Hugo Lloris and there is no doubt he’s brought with him the kind of winning mentality that manager Mourinho is desperate for.
He’s certainly not let the manager down so far and could do very little about the Ludogorets goal from close-range, which is why he should continue to get his opportunity in the Europa League competition.
Attention now turns to West Brom at the weekend in the Premier League, but it’s vital the club try to win the Europa League this season.
