Wolverhampton Wanderers may have lost against Manchester City, but many Wolves players emerged from the game with plenty of credit.

Wolves also had to play half the game with ten men after Raul Jimenez’s dismissal for two quickfire yellow cards late in the first half.

Nonetheless, there were positives from the game, and Wolves fans were especially delighted with Max Kilman’s display.

The 24-year-old more than held his own against City’s world-class front line, and they struggled to get past him.

Kilman weighed in with numerous interceptions, blocks and clearances.

The 6ft 3in defender also came so close to grabbing an injury-time equaliser.
