'Outstanding': John Hartson singles 4 Celtic players out for praise after win over AZ
Celtic took a big step towards the Europa League group stages on Wednesday night with victory over AZ.
Ange Postecoglou’s Hoops ran out 2-0 winners over the Dutch outfit at Parkhead.
The prolific Kyogo Furuhashi opened the scoring with his sixth goal in six games since moving to Celtic.
He turned in Tom Rogic’s delivery after just 12 minutes to break the deadlock for the Hoops.
James Forrest then helped make it 2-0 on 61 minutes when his effort took a big deflection and found the net.
It was a superb team effort from Celtic, and John Hartson singled four players out for praise on Twitter post-match.
Anthony Ralston, Tom Rogic, Callum McGregor and Joe Hart all shone for the Bhoys, and Hartson was delighted with them.
Celtic host St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday before travelling to AZ next Thursday.
