A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to praise Oskar Buur after the Molineux academy graduate signed a new contract with the Premier League club.
The 21-year-old wing-back has been with Wolves since 2017, when he joined the club’s academy from Danish outfit Brabrand IF.
Buur developed at Under-23 level under the guidance of Scott Sellars and Rob Edwards before making his league debut in 2018, scoring a crucial equaliser against Hull in the Championship.

The Denmark youth international has made four senior appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, providing an assist for Diogo Jota against Besiktas in the Europa League earlier this season.
Buur’s performance impressed Wolves cult hero Matt Jarvis, who told BT Sport’s ESPN channel (10:05pm, 12 December): “I think the second half he looked much more confident.
“That does your confidence the world of good coming in and getting an assist. Even after that he’s still bursting forward, he’s still making crosses into the box and he deserves a lot of credit.”
A week after Nuno confirmed that Buur had become a permanent member of the Wolves first team, the club has now rewarded him with a contract until the summer of 2023.
Wolves confirmed the news on their official website and on their Twitter channel, with some fans subsequently sending Buur congratulations:
