According to various media outlets (such as BBC Sport), Harvey Elliott is on his way to Liverpool this summer. The talented teenager is leaving Fulham and Liverpool will owe a compensation fee to the London club.
Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly chased Elliott but he is set to move to Anfield. He will join on scholarship terms until he can turn professional on his 17th birthday.
The 16-year-old is the youngest player to ever feature in the Premier League. He made his league debut for Fulham as a late substitute against Wolves just 30 days after his 16th birthday.
His senior debut came in September 2018 against Millwall in the EFL Cup when he was still only 15. He is tipped for a bright future in the game and Liverpool have won the race.
The England U17 international is a left-footed attacking midfield with a lot of natural talent. He has impressed at youth level for Fulham, which earned him his chance in the senior side.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter to discuss the imminent arrival of Elliott. And here are some of the best tweets.
Harvey Elliott will be our Phil Foden type player. Looks class!
Trent, Sepp Van Der Berg, Ki Jana Hoever, Elliot, Grujic, Brewster. Jones, Woodburn, Kelleher, Wilson still there too. Spine coming along well.

Another reason to pity rival fans who measure Klopp’s success purely in trophies. He has made us Elite again; and also THE club that talented young players want to sign for.
