Jack Grealish reportedly has a buy-out clause in his Aston Villa contract.
According to the Daily Mail, the England international has a clause in his deal with the Villains. Moreover, as reported by the Athletic, Manchester City are interested in Grealish, who Villa value at £100m.

Indeed, Grealish’s future is up in the air as Pep Guardiola’s side continue to be linked with the 25-year-old playmaker. The Villa no. 10 signed a new long-term deal with his boyhood club last year.
Furthermore, Villa have been active in the transfer market already this summer. Dean Smith’s side have already signed Emi Buendia for a club-record fee. Whilst the Athletic also report that the Birmingham club had a second bid rejected for Emile Smith Rowe.

Indeed, these transfer moves seem to indicate that Smith is plotting for life after Grealish leaves Villa. And on social media, fans were hoping that news of a buy-out clause in their captain’s contract is not true.
