Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has picked up an injury on international duty. According to Foot 224, Keita has suffered thigh and shin injuries to rule him out of Guinea’s next game.

Keita had several injury concerns heading into the tournament. But the Guinea international is his country’s star man and they decided to include him anyway.

But ahead of the final group game, there has been some bad news. Keita is definitely ruled out of the final match against Burundi and might miss the knockout stages too.

This is not the first time that Guinea have attempted to rush the Liverpool midfielder back. This angered the Reds before and there is now even more frustration for Jurgen Klopp.

Keita had a stop-start season for Liverpool due to injuries. And the Merseyside club will not be happy that Guinea continue to gamble with his fitness.
