Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and a potentially soon-to-be-very-rich Newcastle United have all been linked with Franck Kessie in recent weeks.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, there has been contact from Goodison Park – the Toffees are said to be keen on a new midfielder – and St James’ Park with AC Milan over the past few weeks.
While Everton aren’t believed to have put an offer forward just yet, Newcastle reportedly offered €5m (£4.5m) for a loan move with a €25m (£22m) to €30m (£27m) obligation to buy, which was rejected.
Teamtalk, meanwhile, reported earlier this month that Arsenal were interested in the 23-year-old, a tenacious, skilled, strong and defensively solid central midfielder with a superb engine and an eye for goal.
Milan News has claimed more recently that the Gunners are growing “ever more tempted to try making a move” but adds that “the Londoners won’t be offering more than 20million Euro (around £18million)”.
Although Kessie’s agent George Atangana appeared to pour cold water on any exit talk in April, as reported by Metro, Milan News then suggested that the Rossoneri may sell players who haven’t “fully convinced”, with Kessie as an example.
What have Milan fans made of the speculation around their player? Below is some of the social media reaction:
Although he’s strong, i think he doesn’t have good enough for midfielder attributes

Our best midfielder.

Kessie is poor, the only thing he can do is run and work for the team. Almost everyone plays good in Atalanta because they have a clear plan and system
