Arsenal cruised to victory this evening as the return to form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang helped the Gunners see off a hapless Newcastle United side.
It was a welcome return to goalscoring form for both the Gunners and Aubameyang after the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last time out.
Arsenal were in fine form throughout the tie and looked at their best, with the young duo of Emile Smith-Rowe and Bukayo Saka particularly catching the eye of onlooking Gunners fans.
Indeed, was the performance of Saka that really caught the eye again. He expertly tucked away Smith-Rowe’s cutback to get on the scoresheet and was a threat throughout with his pace, trickery, and intelligent running.
Twitter, then, was awash with comments singing the praises of Saka’s performance throughout and after the game.
It seems that despite Aubameyang hitting the goal trail, it is Bukayo Saka who is the man of the moment for Arsenal fans.
Bukayo Saka is our best player and it isn’t really close. Generational talent.

Could Saka and ESR be the long-awaited heirs to Henry-Pires partnership? Only time-and a combined 162 league goals-will tell. #Arsenal

Saka and Smith Rowe are amazing. Arsenal youngsters are doing better than the world class Salah and Mane.
