Leeds United director Victor Orta is in talks with five targets, according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth.
The Whites have enjoyed a superb season back in the Premier League, finishing in the top half of the table.
Leeds have thrilled fans and neutrals along the way thanks to the swashbuckling style of football championed by Marcelo Bielsa.

Now, Orta isn’t wasting any time in making progress on the transfer front.
Speaking on the Inside Elland Road Podcast, Smyth gave Leeds fans a positive update.
“As it stands, Victor Orta is in talks with five targets, not all left-backs,
“They’re hoping to bring in three, maybe four, but probably three first-team signings.
“And then of course they’ll bring in two, three or four U23 signings as well to bolster Mark Jackson’s squad.
“But of the players he’s talking to, he spoke to a left-back at the weekend who impressed, we’re led to believe, with his attitude and he seems to have the right stuff to play for Marcelo Bielsa, and he’s moved into a good position in the pecking order in terms of targets in that position.”
Leeds looking at left-backs
Earlier this week, the Yorkshire Evening Post commented on Leeds’ left-back search.
The Whites have been linked with several left-backs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Nicolas Tagliafico, Romain Perraud, Javi Galan and Alex Grimaldo are just some of the names on the rumour mill.
However, the Yorkshire Evening Post says Tagliafico hasn’t spoken to Leeds.
Although Orta has spoken to one player, he’s not one of Perraud, Galan or Grimaldo.

TBR View
It’s great to head that Leeds are being so proactive ahead of the summer transfer window.
Orta’s efforts have proven crucial over the years as Leeds went from a mid-table Championship side to a bona fide Premier League outfit.
Now, ahead of a crucial second top-flight season, the Leeds hierarchy appears to be moving quickly to ensure another great campaign.
