It is now one year since charismatic German manager Jurgen Klopp strolled through the Shankly Gates and into his job as Liverpool manager, and what a year it has been. Inheriting a squad in regression under Brendan Rodgers, Klopp galvanised the team into a Capital One Cup and Europa League final in his first season at the helm.
An eighth placed finish in the league, though, was disappointing, but five wins from the opening seven games of the current campaign have instilled optimism that the Reds may be able to launch a charge for the title.
