Tottenham Hotspur have managed to avoid having their star players snatched by Saudi Arabian clubs so far.
Liverpool and Manchester City have lost the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez to the Saudi Pro League, while Chelsea sold a number of players to the middle-east over the summer.
Spurs are yet to lose a star to the Saudi league, but that could change this summer.
Indeed, speaking on The Debrief, Ben Jacobs has been discussing what the Saudi clubs could do in the coming months, and he’s stated that there’s a possibility that Heung-Min Son ends up moving.

Son could be a Saudi target
Jacobs shared what he knows about the ‘world class’ player.
“Then there’s the usual names, we’ve spoken about them before, Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah, they will have to wait until the summer as well. Son is a distant possibility, he dismissed the links, but when they were dismissed people were focused on last summer and I was told that Son would only be a concrete target in the summer of 2024, that might be one to watch, but it remains to be seen whether or not Son is open to the move,” Jacobs said.
Disaster
It would be an utter disaster if Son left Tottenham this summer.
The South Korean is undoubtedly one of Spurs’ most important players, and he’s also the club captain these days.
Tottenham haven’t struggled without Harry Kane due to the fact Son has stepped up to the mark, but if Son does end up leaving, Spurs’ attack begins to look incredibly threadbare in terms of goals.
Of course, money talks in this game, and while it’s romantic to think that Son would stay loyal to Spurs if an offer came in, as we’ve seen time and time again, even the most loyal of players can have their heads turned by the Saudi League these days.
