Another busy transfer window looks to be on the cards for Tottenham Hotspur following the appointment of Antonio Conte last week.
Previous reports suggested that the Italian could look to make as many as four signings in January.

And obviously, the priority is likely to be a new centre-back. Spurs look set to run with a back three under Conte. And with that, more quality may be required in the backline.
One player Tottenham reportedly have their eye on is Bremer. According to Tuttomercatoweb, they are battling Liverpool and Napoli for his signature.
The report noted that Torino have offered to almost triple his salary with a contract that would run until 2024.
It is no surprise that Toro are so desperate to keep the 24-year-old. He has arguably been one of the best defenders in Serie A this season.

He averages 3.9 interceptions per game, according to Whoscored. That leaves him well out in front.
Meanwhile, he is fourth in the division for aerial duels won. Certainly, he has been Torino’s best player so far.
The latest reports may however, leave Spurs fans wondering whether they do have much of a chance of landing the Brazilian.
Turning Liverpool down would be a huge call for any player. And clearly, Torino are ready to make a big gesture to keep him.
Tottenham meanwhile, have left Conte with plenty of work to do. So landing his top targets may not be easy.
Having said all that, history may perhaps be on Spurs’ side.
Tottenham looking to replicate Romero move amid Bremer interest?
It is not the first time that Tottenham have targeted one of the league’s best defenders since Fabio Paratici came in.
In fact, over the summer, Spurs landed the player named the best in that position in the Italian top flight last year.
Cristian Romero was sensational for Atalanta. And it looks to be a huge coup to bring him to North London.
Romero also went on to help Argentina win the Copa America. He was subsequently named in the team of the tournament.
But Tottenham secured his signature. It was a major statement of intent. And the smart money suggests that that deal is going to be looked back upon as a masterstroke in the years to come.
They now have their sights set on another of Serie A’s best defenders. And the move for Romero shows that they can win this latest race.
