James Maddison has claimed that one Tottenham Hotspur teammate is one of the sharpest players he has ever seen, as he picked him out as the most skilful at the club.
James Maddison has undoubtedly been a brilliant signing for Spurs. Maddison was arguably one of the best players in the Premier League before sustaining an injury in early November.
Unfortunately for Ange Postecoglou, injuries have played a key role in Spurs’ season. And one of the first to be ruled out with a serious problem was Manor Solomon.
James Maddison names the most skilful Tottenham player
Solomon has become something of a forgotten signing given that his most recent appearance came back in September. And he had only made three starts before suffering a knee injury.

Solomon is a few weeks away from a return, as things stand. And clearly, Maddison believes that it would be a big boost for Tottenham as he was asked – in an interview for the club’s official programme – to name the most skilful player in the ranks.
“In terms of actual skills, tricks and quick feet I’d probably say Manor Solomon, one of the sharpest players I’ve ever seen,” he said.
Big boost for Spurs when Manor Solomon is back
The good thing about Solomon is that he is still only 24 years of age. There is so much time for the winger to put his injury problems behind him and show why Tottenham brought him to the club in the first place.
He showed glimpses of his quality during his time with Fulham, going on a brilliant goalscoring run at one stage.
Spurs have the depth to get by while he is still sidelined. And that will take some of the pressure off him when he is closing in on a return. But clearly, Maddison believes that Solomon will have a lot to offer once he is back available to Postecoglou.
